Jaguar Mens Tennis Slips to Young Harris by Narrow Margin

AUGUSTA, Ga. – Augusta University Men's Tennis fell to the Young Harris Mountain Lions by a narrow margin on Saturday afternoon.

 

Young Harris falls to 1-11 while Augusta moves to 6-6 overall.

In doubles action, Lucas Bolle and Martin Hurtado defeated John Brett and Herman Ronnberg 7-5.

After Ricard Rubio fell 6-4, 7-5 at the No. 1 singles spot, Lucas Bolle prevailed in his match 6-2, 6-4. Quentin Cano Perez took a convincing win at the No. 4 singles spot, 6-0, 7-5. To round out the Jags for the day, Martin Hurtado bested Eric Delvalle 6-1, 6-1.

 

AU Men's Tennis plays their final match of the season at Georgia College on Wednesday April 14th at 2pm.
