Jaguar Mens Tennis Falls to Nationally Ranked Flagler

AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta University Men's tennis team fell to nationally ranked PBC opponent 5-2on Tuesday at Newman Tennis Center.

 

Flagler improves to 5-8, 2-1 in the Peach Belt while Augusta moves to 4-5, 1-5 PBC>

 

After Ricard Rubio ad Mattia Mauriziano lost a 7-5 battle at the No. 1 doubles spot, Lucas Bolle ane Martin Hurtado defeated Phillip Lemken and Halil Aydogdu 7-6 by a 7-6 tiebreak.

Lucas Bolle also won at the No.2 singles spot, 7-6, 6-4. Martin Hurtado defeated the Saints' William Jonsson 6-4, 6-4.

  

AU men's Tennis hosted Augustana University today in Non-Conference action and will resume their Peach Belt Conference schedule on Saturday April 3rd when they travel to Young Harris.
