AUGUSTA, Ga. – The No. 39 nationally-ranked Augusta University men's tennis team won a 7-0 Peach Belt Conference match against Georgia Southwestern on Sunday at Newman Tennis Center. The Jaguars honored seniors Joao Ferreira and Patrick Oliveira in a pre-match senior day ceremony.
The match moved Augusta to 9-8 overall and 3-6 in the PBC, while GSW moved to 4-12 overall and 0-5 in the league.
Oliveira won 6-0, 6-0 at the first singles slot and Ferreira 6-2, 6-2 at number two singles in their final home match of 2019.
