AUGUSTA, Ga. – Augusta University head men's and women's tennis coach, Michael McGrath, reached 500 career wins on Saturday, March 23 with a 5-2 Peach Belt Conference men's win over Francis Marion at Newman Tennis Center.
Now in his 21st season, McGrath has 500 combined wins as the head coach for the Jaguars men's and women's teams. He is 260-211 with the men's squad and 240-209 with the women's team. With McGrath at the helm, Augusta Tennis has enjoyed unprecedented success and reached new heights since his first season in 1998-99.
The No. 39 nationally-ranked men's tennis team won 5-2 over FMU on Saturday to get McGrath to 500 wins as the head man for the men's and women's teams.
The Jaguars host Anderson on Monday, March 25 for a 1:00 p.m. non-conference match.
