AUGUSTA, Ga. – For the third consecutive year, Augusta University men's tennis senior Patrick Oliveira has been named to the preseason Peach Belt All-Conference team. Nationally-ranked No. 30 for singles, Oliveira has earned preseason All-PBC honors in every year he has been eligible for the award.
Three of the six players named are from defending National Champion Columbus State with Lander adding two and Augusta one.

- A senior from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
- Named first-team All-Conference in singles for the second straight year in 2018
- Currently ranked #30 in the nation in singles
- Went 13-4 in singles in 2018, playing every match at #1 and was 6-3 in conference play
- Went 13-7 in doubles play overall with four different partners, playing at all three doubles spots
- In the most recent Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division II National Singles Rankings that were released Wednesday, Nov. 21, Oliveira was seated inside the top 30. He is also ranked No. 9 for singles in the NCAA Southeast Region.
Oliveira broke the top 10 national ranks last season in November of 2017 and has remained in the top 50 since.
A four-year starter from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Oliveira was named first team Peach Belt All-Conference as a junior and sophomore and climbed as high as 10th in the nation in singles.
He played exclusively in the No. 1 singles slot for the Jaguars as a junior in 2018, finishing with a 13-4 record overall and 6-3 mark against PBC opponents. Oliveira was ranked fourth in the Peach Belt Conference for No. 1 singles and partnered with four different teammates for doubles competition.
