Augusta Edged Out By No. 13 Georgia College To Start Conference Play

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Augusta University men's tennis team started Peach Belt Conference play on Friday afternoon and dropped a 5-2 match against the Georgia College Bobcats.

 

Augusta is now 4-3 overall and 0-1 in the PBC, while GC improved to 4-0.

 

Freshman Lucas Bolle and sophomore Martin Hurtado gave the Jaguars two wins in singles play, but it wasn't enough as the Bobcats took all other matches on their home turf.

 

The Jaguars take on North Georgia Tuesday, Feb. 26 for a 1:30 p.m. PBC match in Dahlonega, Ga.
