Oliveira Seated No. 30 For NCAA National Singles

TEMPE, Ariz. – Augusta University senior Patrick Oliveira is seated 30th in the nation in the most recent Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division II National Singles Rankings that were released Wednesday, Nov. 21.

Oliveira broke the top 10 national ranks last season in November of 2017 and has remained in the top 50 since. He is also ranked No. 9 in the NCAA Southeast Region for singles play.

 

A four-year starter from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Oliveira was named first team Peach Belt All-Conference as a junior last season and ranked as high as 10th in the nation in singles. He played exclusively in the No. 1 singles slot for the Jaguars, finishing with a 13-4 record overall and 6-3 mark against PBC opponents. Oliveira was ranked fourth in the Peach Belt Conference for No. 1 singles and partnered with four different teammates for doubles competition.
