AUGUSTA, Ga. – Augusta University men's tennis senior Patrick Oliveira is ranked No. 9 in the NCAA Southeast Region. The Oracle/Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) released the most recent Division II regional rankings on Wednesday, Nov. 14.
A four-year starter from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Oliveira was named first team Peach Belt All-Conference as a junior last season and ranked as high as 10th in the nation in singles. He played exclusively in the No. 1 singles slot for the Jaguars, finishing with a 13-4 record overall and 6-3 mark against PBC opponents. Oliveira was ranked fourth in the Peach Belt Conference for No. 1 singles and partnered with four different teammates for doubles competition.
