AUGUSTA, Ga. – Nationally ranked Augusta University men's tennis sophomore Patrick Oliveira earned Peach Belt All-Conference honors for his play in the 2017 season.
Spending the entire season ranked in the top 25 for singles completion, Oliveira was named a first-team selection for singles. He compiled a 14-3 overall record at No. 1 singles to lead the Jaguars in wins and winning percentage. He ended the season on an 8-2 run at No. 1 singles and went 7-3 in PBC play.
From Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Oliveira was also named PBC All-Academic this season and the PBC Player of the Week on Feb. 13. He was a Peach Belt Preseason All-Conference selection to begin the season with a No. 12 national ranking.
