AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta University men's tennis team hosted the Flagler Saints on Saturday morning or the second-straight Peach Belt Conference match at Newman Tennis Center and dropped a hard fought 6-3 game.
Patrick Oliveira produced a win at No. 1 singles for Augusta and Joao Gabriel Freitas followed at No. 6 singles for a 6-0, 6-4 win.
The Saints won two of three doubles matches, but not before AU's Moritz Gehlhaus and Gabriel Dos Santos won 8-6 over Willy Hasselberg and Luca Bolla at No. 2 doubles.
Augusta returns to the court on Sunday, Feb. 26 to host top-ranked Armstrong State for a PBC dual match at 10:00 a.m.
