AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta University men's tennis team hosted Belmont Abbey on Thursday afternoon at Newman Tennis Center and pulled out a 9-0 flawless victory to remain undefeated.
Facing his alma mater, head coach Michael McGrath guided the Jaguars (4-0) to a shutout victory. Augusta did not lose one match on the day while battling high winds.
AU is ranked No. 9 in the NCAA Southeast Region and No. 49 in the nation according to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA).
Augusta hosts Emmanuel on Friday, Feb. 10 for a 2:00 p.m. start at Newman Tennis Center in Augusta, Ga.
