Jags Netters Ranked No. 9

AUGUSTA, Ga. – Augusta State claimed a ninth place ranking out of the top 50 in the first ITA Division II National Team Ranking of 2013, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced Wednesday afternoon.

The Jaguars (3-6, 1-2 in Peach Belt Conference) are one of six schools on the list from the Peach Belt. The PBC posted the most teams on the list with the Pacific West Conference and Sunshine State Conference tied for second with four teams ranked.

Armstrong Atlantic took the top spot in both the men's and women's rankings with the following schools coming in as ordered for the men: West Florida (second), Lynn (third), Barry (fourth), Hawaii Pacific (fifth), Rollins (sixth), Columbus State (seventh), Lander (eighth), Augusta State (ninth), and Oklahoma Christian (10th).
