Jags Fall At No. 4 Barry

MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- Augusta State fell for the second straight day to a top-five opponent on the road when fourth-ranked Barry downed the Jaguars 8-1 in non-conference action at Buccaneer Tennis Center.

The loss was the second in as many afternoons for ASU, which fell 8-1 to No. 3 Lynn on Monday in Boca Raton, Fla.

The ninth-ranked Jaguars notched their lone victory at No. 2 doubles from Jan Labas and Romain Brunie, who won 8-3 over Ollie Lemaitre and Roman Costamagna..

The Jags (3-5) travel to Savannah, Ga., to tangle with top-ranked Armstrong Atlantic on Thursday, Feb. 26 at 12:00 p.m.
