AUGUSTA, Ga. -- The Augusta State men's tennis squad improved to 3-0 on the young season with a 9-0 victory over Johnson C. Smith in non-conference action Tuesday afternoon at Newman Tennis Center.

The 13th-ranked Jaguars blanked the Golden Bulls in singles action and dropped only one game in doubles. Bernardo Fernandes, Henrique Boturao, Sergi Forcadell, Victor Cabellos and Victor Guimaraes all registered two wins each, while Jenner Stevenson was credited with a win at No. 3 doubles with Forcadell.
Both Jaguar tennis squads host Queens on Thursday, Feb. 9 at 12:00 p.m., at Newman Tennis Center.
