AUGUSTA, Ga.
– No. 1 Armstrong Atlantic State swept the Peach Belt
Conference women's and men's tennis openers from
Augusta State Saturday afternoon in Savannah, Ga.
The Pirates and the Lady Pirates each earned 9-0 wins over ASU.
The loss was the first for both the ASU men's and
women's team, dropping the men to 3-1 overall and 0-1 in the
PBC, and the women to 2-1 on the season and 0-1 in the
conference.
The ASU netters are back in action tomorrow when they take on
Flagler in a Peach Belt Conference match St. Augustine, Fla., at
noon.
