Birmingham, AL - The Augusta University men's golf team is set to start its 2020-21 season at the Graeme McDowell Intercollegiate in Birmingham, AL on Sept. 29-30 at Greystone Founders Golf Course. The tournament marks the first time since the cancellation of sports in March that Augusta Athletics is competing.
Hosted by the University of Alabama Birmingham Blazers, the two-day tournament takes place at Greystone Founders Country Club. Greystone Founders is an 18-hole course that was the site of the Regions Traditions, a senior major championship.
The Jaguars returned five lettermen from last season and signed three new freshmen and one graduate transfer for the 2020-21 season. This is the first of two fall tournaments the Jags will compete in.
