Augusta Remains in 8th after Second Day of Maui Jim

Scottsdale Az. – The Men's Golf team remains firmly spotted in 8th place, along with Minnesota, after two rounds at the Maui Jim Invitational. The Jags shot 273 on the second day brining their grand total to 584 or, -12 under par, as a team. Arizona snatched the top spot from Arizona State, who now sits in a tie with Clemson for 2nd.

After shooting a 68 in the first round, McCullough Pickens improved by one stroke and is tied for 16th, shooting a 67 for a two-day total of 135. Gustav Anderson and Ben van Wyk maintained their scores from the previous day with Anderson shooting a 68 and van Wyk a 69. Alex van Wyk improved his game by five strokes by shooting a 69, with Jack Vajda finishing the day with a 76.

The Jaguars will be back at it tomorrow for the third and final day of the tournament. Tee time in scheduled for 8:40 a.m. with Vajda the first to go.
