The Dakotas Tour is an 18 event professional golf tour played in the Midwest states of Minnesota, Iowa, North and South Dakota. Professional golfers play for a total of approximately $750,000 over the course of a quick nine weeks, starting the week after the 4th of July and ending the week after Labor Day.

After winning the individual 2018 NCAA National Championship, Everett turned pro and competed on the Mackenzie Tour – PGA Tour Canada last summer. He also earned an exemption for the 2018 John Deere Classic on the PGA Tour, before making his way to The Dakotas Tour. A four-year player for the Jaguars, Everett capped off a stellar career by winning the individual 2018 NCAA National Championship title at Karsten Creek Golf Club in Stillwater, Okla. He was named an All-American and was an All-American Scholar as a senior in 2017-18. During his time he helped guide Augusta to four MEAC Championships, earned All-Region honors, and matched the low round school record with a 64.
