Augusta Starts Year At Maui Jim Intercollegiate In Arizona

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – The Augusta University men's golf team begins the 2017-18 season on Friday at the Maui Jim Intercollegiate, hosted by Georgia State, in Scottsdale, Ariz., at Desert Forest Golf Club.

 

Augusta will send seniors Broc Everett, Ryan Johnson, sophomore Gustav Andersson, and freshmen Olof Gunnarsson and Alex Shead. The Jaguars return to the MJI, after taking ninth last year led by Emmanuel Kountakis (T18) and Everett (T23). Last year team's played at Mirabel Golf Club, but construction forced a venue change to Desert Forest.
