EATONTON, Ga. – The Augusta University men's golf team is tied for 10th with Middle Tennessee State at the Linger Longer Invitational after shooting 300 (+12) in round two at Great Waters at Reynolds Plantation.
No. 4 Baylor ran away with the lead and is in first out of 15 teams. Baylor is 26-under par and No. 8 Virginia and Alabama are tied for second at nine under. Troy fell two spots and is fourth (-8), and UNCG is fifth (-6) for the top five.
The Jags dropped five spots on the leaderboard after 36 holes, but junior Broc Everett and senior Emmanuel Kountakis sit in the top 25. Everett shot his second-straight 71 (-1) to earn a T18 and Kountakis is tied for 21st with a round-two 75.
Senior Viktor Edin sit sin a tie for 32nd, senior Jake Marriott is tied for 64th, and freshman Gustav Andersson is in 82nd with round more round to play.
