"We are excited to begin our spring season with a fabulous trip to the Los Angeles, California area again this year," head coach Jack O'Keefe said. "The field for Pepperdine is solid as #6 USC will try to defend the title and we will compete against other top-30 teams from around the country. We have enjoyed the mild winter here in Augusta and the guys have been working hard. Our lineup is led by Broc Everett and Jake Marriott followed by Viktor Edin, Emmanuel Kountakis and freshman Gustav Andersson. We are eager to get started."

2017 TEAMS (14): Augusta, College of Charleston, Fresno State, Idaho, Lipscomb, Michigan, Mississippi State, Oregon State, Pepperdine, San Diego State, SMU, UC Davis, USC, and Washington State.

TOURNAMENT HISTORY: The Southwestern Intercollegiate was started by USC in 1978. The schools co-hosted the event in 2013 and 2014. After a year without a tournament, Pepperdine then took over hosting duties in 2016 and merged it with its own home tournament, which had been played at a few different sites.
