San Martin, Calif. -- Augusta State carded a
21-over 381 Tuesday in the second round of the CordeValle
Collegiate at CordeValle Country Club.
The Jaguars, ranked No. 31 in the nation by Golfstat, were paced by
freshman Taylor Floyd’s three-over 75. Henrik Norlander and
Brendan Gillins each posted a 76, while Jake Amos and Carter Newman
signed for a pair of 77’s. Senior Janne Kaske had the
non-counting score with an 83.
Southern California shot a a two-over 362 and nearly doubled its
lead from 10 to 19 shots over Stanford. Washington is third while
Arkansas and Charlotte are tied for fourth.
Southern Cal’s Tim Sluiter and Matthew Giles stand first and
second, while teammate Jamie Lovemark is tied for third with
Charlotte’s David Rawluk and Washington’s Nick
Taylor.
The Jags will be paired with Santa Clara in the third and final
round and will hit the course at 11 a.m. Eastern.
