Jags Drop PBC Game to Young Harris

AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta University men's basketball team hosted Young Harris on Saturday afternoon and dropped an 81-72 game in a Peach Belt Conference

Young Harris was led by the hot shooting of Alphonso Willis' 28 points.

Young Harris produced the first points of the evening off of a quick layup from Karl Chavis only 4 seconds into the game. A made jump shot by Shawn Moss with 21 seconds to go in the first half sent the home team to the locker room down 44-36 at the break.

The Jaguars dwindled the lead to three points after John Whitehead II sunk a shot from beyond the arc with 8:05 left in game, but Young Harris was able to withstand AU for an 81-72 victory.
