Jags Host Greek Life Night Jan. 30 Against Rival USC Aiken

AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta University women's and men's basketball teams host rival USC Aiken on Wednesday, Jan. 30 for a Peach Belt Conference doubleheader in Christenberry Fieldhouse. The women tipoff at 5:30 p.m. and the men at 7:30 p.m. It is Greek Life Night with the Jags where AU sororities and fraternities will be in attendance to support the teams.

AU Student Life and Engagement and the Jaguar Production Crew are providing free pizza & drinks to the first 175 Augusta students and there will be chances to compete in games and win prizes throughout the night.

 

The Jumping Jaguars from Grovetown Elementary School will perform during halftime of the women's game and during men's halftime there will be a special recognition ceremony for former men's golfer Broc Everett. Everett is being honored for winning the 2018 NCAA Individual National Championship in Stillwater, Oklahoma on May 28, 2018.

 

Augusta University is home to eleven fraternities and sororities, three councils, and one honor society who collectively seek to excel academically, philanthropically, and socially while still continuing to remain true to their own organization's standards, rituals, and traditions. As a Greek community, organizations work together to fulfill Augusta University's Greek Life core values: scholarship, leadership, service, and friendship.
