AUGUSTA, Ga. – Augusta University Athletics announced the promotional nights for home Jaguar basketball games and released the dates for the Jaguar Club Café – a light snack and hospitality area for Jaguar Club members during select home basketball doubleheaders in the 2018-19 season.
Below are the dates for select games with various promo and marketing events. There will be halftime performances throughout the season by different groups from the community and the AU athletic teams will work the Jag Club Cafes!

2018-19 AUGUSTA BASKETBALL PROMO DATES

Dec. 6th (Thurs.) EDUCATION DAY @ 11:00 a.m.
Men's basketball hosts the fifth annual Education Day game with over 2,500 fifth graders from Richmond County School System for a special 11:00 a.m. tipoff! Augusta hosts Emmanuel in Christenberry Fieldhouse.
Jan. 16th (Wed.) JAGUARS UNITED NIGHT @ 5:30 / 7:30 p.m.
The games will serve as the culmination event for a week-long competition amongst the 10 schools/colleges at Augusta University on who has the most school spirit! The Jags will be hosting UNC Pembroke for the second annual Jaguars United Night event.
Jan. 30th (Wed.) RIVALRY GAME W/ USC AIKEN @ 5:30 / 7:30 p.m.
The Augusta University women's and men's basketball teams host rival USC Aiken on Wednesday, Jan. 30 for a Peach Belt Conference doubleheader in Christenberry Fieldhouse. The women tipoff at 5:30 p.m. and the men at 7:30 p.m. It is Greek Life Night with the Jags where AU sororities and fraternities will be in attendance to support the teams.
Feb. 2nd (Sat.) MILITARY APPRECIATION DAY @ 12:00 & 2:00 p.m.
An honored tradition continues as Augusta University Athletics honors members of the United States Armed Forces with the annual Military Appreciation Day doubleheader against Lander University in Christenberry Fieldhouse!
Feb. 9th (Sat.) CANCER AWARENESS DAY / INDOOR TAILGATE @ 1:30 / 3:30 p.m.
The Georgia Cancer Center will be on site to promote cancer awareness and raise funds to fight the disease! Jags hoops also invites various departments from Augusta University to tailgate in the north mezzanine in Christenberry Fieldhouse! AU departments can reserve a space in the mezzanine and set up their best tailgating atmosphere.

Feb. 23rd (Sat.) 2019 HOMECOMING / SENIOR DAY @ 1:30 / 3:30 p.m.
Augusta University Athletics will honor the 2018-19 seniors from men's and women's basketball, cheerleading, and pep band in between the doubleheader against Georgia Southwestern! AU celebrates 2018 Homecoming during the week of Feb. 18-23! The week culminates with the 2019 Homecoming Games on Saturday, Feb. 23 against Georgia Southwestern in Christenberry Fieldhouse. The coronation ceremony and crowning of the king and queen takes place during the men's halftime!
