CLEMSON, S.C. – The Augusta University men's basketball team will travel to Clemson University on Thursday, Nov. 2 to take on the Tigers in the Littlejohn Coliseum for a 7:00 p.m. exhibition game. The game is free to all.

"Anytime you can play at an ACC school, you jump on the opportunity because it is great exposure for your team, your university, and your fan base," head men's basketball coach Dip Metress said.

Augusta University Student Life has coordinated a fan bus for all Augusta University students! The bus is first come first serve and will leave at 3:00 p.m. on Nov. 2 from the AU Summerville Campus – near the Maxwell Theatre parking lot. For information on the bus please contact Assistant to the Dean of Student Life, Leza Witherington: lwitherington@augusta.edu

This is the second-straight season that head coach Dip Metress has taken the Jaguars to battle Division I competition. Last season, Augusta was in a one-point game with under three minutes to play at Division I powerhouse Wichita State in exhibition action, but the Shockers survived the Jaguars for a 73-67 win in Koch Arena.

Augusta officially begins the season on Friday, Nov. 10 when they take on Mount Olive in Wilson, N.C. Season tickets and reserved seating are now on sale for the 2017-18 season.
