KANSAS CITY, Mo. (March 21, 2017) – The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced the 2017 NABC Coaches' Division II All-America team on Tuesday and Augusta University men's basketball senior Keshun Sherrill represents the Jaguars on the list. Selected and voted on by member coaches of the NABC in Division II, these student-athletes represent the finest basketball players across America.
The team was announced the at the Elite Eight media conference in Sioux Falls, S.D., Tuesday morning.
Sherrill was also named an All-American by the DII Conference Commissioner's Association. He was selected to the 2017 Reese's Division II College All-Star Game and will play on Friday, March 24 at 7:00 p.m. (CDT) in the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls.
The All-American accolade is the fourth of his historic career in Augusta.
The 5-9 senior guard from Cleveland, N.C., was named NABC first-team All-District, the NCAA Southeast Region Player of the Year and the Peach Belt Conference Player of the Year. He owns the all-time scoring title in conference history with 2,333 points – breaking former Jaguar Ben Madgen's previously held record of 2,306 points.
Sherrill was also first team All-PBC this season and was named the PBC Player of the Week three times in 2016-17. He averaged 22.6 points on the year and started all 32 games. He led the Peach Belt in points, field goals, free throws, and minutes played and was second in points per game and three pointers. He finishes third amongst active 2017 Division II players for the most career points.

About the National Association of Basketball Coaches
Located in Kansas City, MO, the NABC was founded in 1927 by Forrest "Phog" Allen, the legendary basketball coach at the University of Kansas. Allen, a student of James Naismith, the inventor of basketball, organized coaches into this collective group to serve as Guardians of the Game. The NABC currently has nearly 5,000 members consisting primarily of university and college men's basketball coaches.
