Sherrill Cards Fifth PBC Player Of The Week Award Of His Career

AUGUSTA, Ga. – For the third time this season and the fifth time in his historic career, Augusta University men's basketball senior Keshun Sherrill has been named the Peach Belt Conference Player of the Week. The award was released by the league office on Monday afternoon.

Keshun Sherrill averaged 25.3 points per game in three contests including a 33-point effort in the season finale OT win at USC Aiken that secured the top seed in the east for the Jaguars.

The senior guard from Cleveland, N.C., began with 14 points and six rebounds at Paine, then scored 29 on 9-for-16 shooting against Lander. In Wednesday's game with USCA, he hit four of six three-pointers and 13 of 16 free throws.

Sherrill scored 30 or more for the fourth time this season, most among all PBC players and is second in the PBC in scoring. His 2,236 career points is second-most in PBC history, just 70 points behind all-time leader Ben Madgen, also of Augusta.
