AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta Jaguars went 16-10 overall and 12-7 in the Peach Belt Conference to claim the No. 2 seed in the PBC East Division and earn rights to host the quarterfinal game of the league tournament against No. 3 west seed Young Harris on Sunday, Feb. 28 at 4:00 p.m. in Christenberry Fieldhouse.

TICKET PRICES: Admission to the doubleheader is $10 for general fans and $6 for seniors, active/retired military personnel, Augusta University faculty/staff, and children. All students from PBC institutions are admitted free with an ID.
Augusta won four games in a row to close out the regular season and faces off against the Young Harris Mountain Lions for the second time this year. The Jags fell in double overtime to YHC at home on Jan. 18, 2016 in a 105-99 battle.
Augusta junior Keshun Sherrill led the team with 19 points and senior Tommy Williams had 17 points and 10 rebounds in the loss. Off the bench for the Jags, freshmen Deane Williams and Aaron Byrd scored 14 each and junior Keith Crump 13.
YHC had all five starters score in double figures, with C.J. Wilson leading the team with 29 points and 15 assists.
Sherrill and Wilson are tied for second in the Peach Belt in scoring with 23.6 points per game, while Sherrill leads the league in free throws (196) and free-throw percentage (88.8 percent).
This is the second straight quarterfinal matchup for the Jaguars and Mountain Lions. No. 4 seed Young Harris upset No. 1 seed Augusta in Christenberry Fieldhouse in the opening game of the 2015 PBC Tournament last season.
No. 1 Lander hosts No. 4 Georgia College in the east. In the west, Columbus State finished the regular season tied with Montevallo atop the west. The two teams split their regular-season meetings, but CSU takes the seed with a better divisional record. CSU will face No. 4 Francis Marion and No. 2 Montevallo will face the No. 3 seed in the east, Armstrong State.
