AUGUSTA, Ga. – Augusta University Athletics is proud to welcome 500 soldiers from Fort Gordon Military base who will fill the stands of Christenberry Fieldhouse on Saturday, Jan. 30 as Augusta Athletics honors members of the United States Armed Forces with the annual Military Appreciation Day games during the Jaguars basketball doubleheader against Clayton State at 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.
The Augusta women tipoff at 12:00 p.m. and the men follow at 2:00 p.m.
Fort Gordon will drop off 500 soldiers at Christenberry Fieldhouse starting at 11:30 a.m. for the Peach Belt Conference doubleheader.
Free Jaguar military-themed hats for Fort Gordon Soldiers!
The Augusta University ROTC Department will present the colors prior to the game and Fort Gordon and Augusta University will create a joint choir to sing the National Anthem. The 434th Army band will link with the Jaguar pep-band for in-game entertainment! All Fort Gordon soldiers will receive a free Jaguar military-themed hat.
During halftime of the men's game, there will be 35 candidates officially inducted into the Army with a special ceremony and there will be a Fort Gordon Humvee and satellite vehicle on display at Christenberry Fieldhouse the day of the game.
All active duty, retired, and veteran military personnel are admitted into the games free of charge with a valid military ID or DD214 form.

JAGUAR BASKETBALL GENERAL ADMISSION TICKETS
- $10 per doubleheader (two games)
- $7 for senior citizens, non-Augusta University students, and current and retired military personnel
- Free for current Augusta University faculty and staff and for retired faculty and staff with a valid ID
- Six and under are free
***Attending a single game on a scheduled doubleheader is still $10 for admission
