The Jaguars are led in scoring by Kariel Hutt and Breonna O'Connor with 14.3 and 14.0 points per game, respectively, while Hutt also leads the team in rebounding with 11.5 boards per game and the team averages 43.0 rebounds per game.

UNCP and Augusta will meet for the 37th time on Saturday in a series that has been controlled by the Jaguars, 31-15. Last year, the teams split the series with the Braves taking the home win at the beginning of January and the Jaguars tying up the series with the road win at the end of the month.

MEN'S HOOPS

Augusta (4-5, 0-2 PBC) vs. UNCP (6-6, 0-3 PBC) – Jan. 2, 2016 at 3:30 p.m.

The Augusta men have captured 38 of the 50 previous meetings heading into Saturday's game, but the squads have split eight matchups since the start of the 2011-12 season. Twenty-five games in the series have been decided by seven points or less, including six that have been decided by a single possession. The Jaguars captured 23 of 26 matchups in the series from 1998-2012, including 13-straight wins during that span.

The Braves have dropped five of their last six contests, including a 77-74 setback at Georgia College on December 19. The Black & Gold was on the better end of a 24-rebound disparity in that contest and erased a 14-point second half deficit, but the Bobcats used a 3-pointer with 19 seconds left to escape the late push by the visitors.
