ASU To Host Military Appreciation Day

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Augusta State Athletics is proud to once again host Military Appreciation Day when the Jaguars take on Flagler College in a Peach Belt Conference doubleheader on Saturday, Feb. 4 in Christenberry Fieldhouse.

All active-duty and retired servicemen and servicewomen, along with their families, will receive complimentary admission into the game with a form of military ID. Soldiers from Fort Gordon will have reserved seating, and several presentations are scheduled for halftime of the men's game to honor the soldiers and the veterans of the CSRA.

The Lady Jaguars (10-10, 5-7 PBC) enter fresh off a 64-59 win over Montevallo, putting them in the thick of the hunt for a PBC Tournament berth, while the men look to continue pushing for another East Division crown. The Jags (12-7, 8-4 PBC) currently sit in second place, just 1.5 games behind division leader USC Aiken.

Tipoff is slated for 1:30 p.m. for the women's game, with the men's game set for 3:30 in Christenberry Fieldhouse at 3109 Wrightsboro Road, just down from Newman Tennis Center.
