PBC Partners With Taylor BMW

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- The Peach Belt Conference and league commissioner David Brunk are pleased to announce that the league has reached a partnership agreement with Taylor BMW. With this agreement, Taylor will become the 'Official BMW Dealership of the Peach Belt Conference.'

The new partnership will allow Taylor access to promotions of all types at PBC Championship events in the CSRA, beginning with the PBC Men's and Women's Basketball Tournament in Aiken which starts March 4.

"We are thrilled that Taylor BMW has decided to join the Peach Belt in promoting our student-athletes and member institutions," said Brunk. "With our league bringing more of our championship events to Augusta and the CSRA, this is a tremendous opportunity for both the PBC and Taylor BMW to work together to enrich the championship experience not only for our student-athletes, but for fans of the PBC as well."

Founded in 1993 by Ann Taylor, just two years after the Peach Belt Conference was founded, Taylor BMW is located at 4180 Washington Road in Evans, Ga. Rated as one of the top dealerships in customer satisfaction, Taylor is one of the top 10 BMW dealerships in the nation and won the BMW President's Award last year.

"We have been looking for an opportunity to extend our community relations and the Peach Belt Championship series caught our eye as a premier event featuring some of the best athletes, coaches, their families and the supporting students from all over the southeast," said Will Foster, General Manager of Taylor BMW.

"This conference is scholastically and competitively on a very positive track and we wanted to align ourselves with organizations that we compare with our dealership. Taylor BMW has continued to grow and achieve high honors within our industry despite challenging times. Joining the Peach Belt Conference as a sponsor is a logical step and fits into our goals toward developing partnerships with companies and organizations that have a clear path to success despite the negative news in the media. We are thrilled to be associated with the Peach Belt Conference and hope that we can help spread the word and encourage local families to attend and support these fantastic events."

With the announcement of the partnership, Taylor BMW and the Peach Belt have also announced several promotional activities that will take place at the PBC Basketball Tournament March 4-8.

First is the 'Taylor BMW Ultimate Drive to the Championship' which will give a full PBC Basketball tournament pass, good for all games at the championship, to everyone who test drives a Taylor BMW from Feb. 25-March 4. 200 passes will be given out at the dealership, fans will also have the opportunity to shoot hoops for a tournament pass.

The 'Taylor BMW Ultimate Shootout' will give one lucky fan the opportunity to win a BMW of their own. At halftime of each PBC Tournament game at the USCA Convocation Center, two fans will shoot free throws for 35 seconds, the fan who makes the most will advance in a bracket-style competition. The winner will then have the opportunity to make a lay-up, a free throw, a three-pointer and a half-court shot in 35 seconds to win a BMW.
