AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Augusta State hosts North
Florida for the final time in a Peach Belt Conference doubleheader
Saturday afternoon at Christenberry Fieldhouse. Game time is 2:00
p.m. for the women's matchup, with the men's contest slated to
start at 4:00 p.m.
UNF, which is making the move up to Division I, is looking for its
first conference win by either team. The Lady Ospreys, who have
been riddled by injuries, enter the game with a 6-8 overall record
and an 0-3 mark in the PBC. The UNF men's squad has dropped three
straight games and sports records of 5-12 and 0-3,
respectively.
The Lady Jaguars (8-6, 2-1) hope to ride the momentum of
Wednesday's 58-49 victory over then-North Division-leading Lander.
The ASU men's squad (8-6, 1-2) will look to bounce back from its
first home loss of the season, a 72-55 setback to the Bearcats.
Saturday's doubleheader at Christenberry will also serve as Jaguar
Kids Day. All children middle school-aged and below will be
admitted free when accompanied by a parent and admission is $1 for
parents.
