Augusta State's men's basketball team saw their record dip to below .500 with a close 74-67 loss to West Georgia on the road Saturday night. With the loss, ASU's record falls to 2-3.
The loss is the second for ASU this season against West Georgia, who beat ASU 79-74 on Nov. 27.
ASU's David Siebrands led the Jags with 18 points and 8 rebounds. Jermale Wilkerson added 11 points.
West Georgia was led by Germayne Forbes' 22 points.
ASU next travels to Winston-Salem to face off against Winston-Salem State. Game time is at 7:30 p.m.
