Augusta, GA --- After a positive turnout at this week’s ASU Holiday Basketball Clinic, Augusta State University head men’s basketball coach Gary Tuell has decided to offer the clinic once again next week.
The clinic, which is being conducted to benefit the athletic scholarship fund, will be held Wednesday, December 27th through Saturday, December 30th. The clinic will be held each day from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with the exception of an abbreviated schedule on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until noon. The clinic is open to all boys and girls ages 6 to 16.
Tuell, along with his coaching staff and members of the ASU Jaguar men’s basketball team, will instruct the clinic. The goal of the clinic is to provide as many young people as possible with an affordable opportunity to improve and sharpen their basketball skills and knowledge of the game.
The cost of the four-day clinic ranges from $25 to $40, depending on the number of siblings in an individual family. Local teams with five or more players can register for $25 per person.
Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 27th and run for 30 minutes at the ASU Athletic Complex on Wrightsboro Road. Cash/and or personal checks will be required at registration. For anyone missing Wednesday’s registration, an "open" registration will also be held on Thursday morning at 9:00 a.m.
