Jaguars face North Florida at home

With five games left in its Peach Belt season, Augusta State has some homecoming business to take care of today.

Tied for first place with USC Aiken atop the North Division, the Jaguars (14-7, 8-3) play host to North Florida (12-9, 6-5) at 7:30 p.m. at the ASU athletic complex. The Lady Jaguars (12-9, 5-6)
take on the Lady Ospreys (11-10, 5-6) at 5:30 p.m.

The ASU athletic complex has become a tough place for Peach Belt opponents to play. The Jaguars are 20-2 against conference opponents in the past three seasons at home and are a perfect 6-0 this year.

North Florida and Augusta State are the two best rebounding teams in the PBC. But the Ospreys have the worst turnover margin (-4.95 a game) in the conference.

For the Jaguars to be successful, they must contain junior guard Koran Godwin. Godwin not only leads the conference in scoring with 22.1 points a game, but he also has shot more free throws
(158) and made more free throws (131) than anyone in the Peach Belt.
