Jags Baseball Announces Cancer Awareness Game For March 30

AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta University baseball team hosts the annual cancer awareness game on Saturday, March 30 against Lander University. The Peach Belt Conference contest begins at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at Jaguar Field and will raise funds and support for the Georgia Cancer Center at Augusta University.

 

Once again, the Jaguars are teaming with the Augusta University Georgia Cancer Center to spread support and awareness for all types of cancer. The Georgia Cancer Center will be on site for the game to take donations, inform fans on how to get involved, and hand out items to the crowd. There will also be corn hole and various games to play at the cancer center station as well!

 

Augusta meets Lander for a three-game league series on the weekend – meeting the Bearcats Friday, March 29 at 2:00 p.m., Saturday at 1:00 p.m., and Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
