HARTSVILLE, S.C. – After a 14 game home stretch, the Augusta University baseball team hit the road for the first time of the 2019 season on Tuesday with a non-conference game at Coker College. The Jaguars scored double-digit runs for the sixth time this season in a 14-6 victory.

Augusta (8-7) built a 5-0 lead over Coker (6-7) after the second inning. Senior Zack Goble drew a bases-loaded walk in the first inning and sophomore Trent Maddox and senior Harrison Moore each delivered two-run singles in the next at bat for the big advantage. In the fourth, Augusta sophomore Carrington Evans tripled to score senior Patrick Watson and freshman Ben Markiewicz ripped an RBI single to right field that drove in Evans for a 7-0 lead.
