AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta University baseball team will host the Jaguar Baseball Reverse Raffle on Friday, Jan. 19, 2018 at the Boathouse Community Center on the Savannah River. The event begins at 6:00 p.m. and supports funds and support the Augusta Jags baseball program.
The baseball fundraiser will feature a meet and greet with the team, a catered dinner, a guest speaker, a silent auction, and numerous prizes. Cash door prizes will be given throughout the event and a grand total of $5,000 will be given to the last ticket pulled!
Mitch Harris is this year's honorary speaker. Harris is a former Major League Baseball (MLB) pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals and a former U.S. Navy Lieutenant.
The meet and greet with the baseball team begins at 6:00 p.m. and the dinner takes place at 7:00 p.m. The Village Deli will provide the meal.
A silent auction will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. as well. The cost per ticket for the event is $100 and it includes dinner for two.
