AUGUSTA, Ga. – Augusta University head baseball coach Chris Howell announced plans to hold an open tryout for Tuesday, Oct. 3 at Lake Olmstead Stadium.
The tryout begins at 3:00 p.m. and is open to all full-time Augusta University students.
Participating students must submit all required documentation prior to trying out (a) current physical within the last six months showing clearance to participate with physician signature, (b) sickle cell waiver indicating "no" to testing -- if student is under 18 years, a parent must also sign the sickle cell waiver.
Individuals should also bring a glove, cleats, and wear baseball attire.
