Augusta Baseball Rearranges Lander Series To April 21-22

AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta University baseball team has moved their Peach Belt Conference series with the Lander Bearcats to Friday and Saturday, April 21-22. Augusta hosts Lander for a 1:00 p.m. single game on Friday, April 21 at Lake Olmstead Stadium and will play a doubleheader on Saturday, April 22 beginning at 3:00 p.m. at Roberto Hernandez Stadium in Aiken, S.C.

 

The Jaguars will now celebrate 2017 Senior Day in between games of the doubleheader on Saturday, April 22. Augusta will recognize seniors Jamal CummingsClint HardyCole JanousekTristan JonesMatthew KuhlenbergCody LanfordCody PughTyler RobertsJoey StillwellWill Thompson, and Chance Warnock


Augusta (17-23, 8-13 PBC) meets Lander (19-25, 10-11 PBC) for their final PBC series of the season. The Jags were set to host a free clinic, Augusta's Play Ball Initiative, on Saturday, April 22 at Jaguar Field with kids from My Brother's Keeper, but this has been postponed for now.
