AUGUSTA, Ga. – Augusta State's Peach Belt Conference doubleheader with Flagler, slated for a noon start on Sunday, has been cancelled.
Inclement weather and unplayable field conditions at Jaguar Field on the ASU Forest Hills campus forced the remainder of the PBC series to be called off.
With the rainout, the Jaguars end their 2013 season at 10-38 overall and 3-25 in the PBC, while Flagler's campaign came to an end at 24-22 and 10-17, respectively. Neither team qualified for the PBC Tournament, scheduled to start Wednesday, May 8 at Dolny Stadium in Greenwood, S.C., and hosted by Lander.
