AUGUSTA, Ga. – Augusta State's Peach Belt Conference series vs. Flagler, originally slated for April 13-14 in Augusta, has been rescheduled according to an announcement Thursday from Jaguar head coach Chris Cooper.
The Jaguars and Saints will now meet on Saturday and Sunday, May 4-5, in Augusta at Jaguar Field adjacent to Christenberry Fieldhouse. The move was necessitated by a conflict with Masters Tournament weekend.
ASU will make up its rained out contest with Erskine on Tuesday, April 9 as part of a doubleheader at 1:00 p.m., at Jaguar Field. The non-conference meeting was washed out on Tuesday, Feb. 12.
The Jags kick off their PBC schedule this weekend when they host Armstrong Atlantic in a three-game series at Lake Olmstead Stadium. Saturday's single game is slated for a 2:00 p.m., first pitch, with Sunday's doubleheader scheduled to get underway at noon.
Tickets for Diamond Jaguar home games at Lake Olmstead Stadium are $5. All Georgia Regents faculty, staff and students are admitted free with a valid ID. Season ticket packages are still available as well for $30.
