GENERAL INFORMATION

The Augusta University Office of Athletic Media Relations can provide media members with biographical information on coaches and student-athletes, historical and statistical information, game programs, photographs and much more. Please contact the Augusta University Athletic Media Relations Office  to obtain this information.


INTERVIEWS

All coach and student-athlete interviews should be directed through the Athletic Media Relations Director. Coaches and players are normally available for post-game interviews at a location arranged by the Athletic Media Relations Director approximately 10 minutes after each contest. Media members should inform the media relations contact which players are requested for post-game interviews. For post-game interviews with opponents, please contact the media relations contact representing the visiting team. For all other non-gameday Augusta University interviews, please contact the Athletic Media Relations Director to arrange a convenient time for all parties.


MEDIA CREDENTIALS

Augusta University Athletics does not distribute media credentials for regular-season contests in any sport. All questions regarding credentials for Peach Belt Conference or NCAA postseason events should be directed to the Athletic Media Relations Director.


MEDIA GUIDES

Augusta University Athletics produces an online media guide for individual teams. All information found in a media guide is available at the official website for Augusta University Athletics – www.AugustaJags.com

The Athletic Media Relations staff produces preseason and postseason information for each of the 13 athletic teams, including a prospectus, roster, schedule and bio information on all coaches and players.


PHOTOGRAPHY GUIDELINES

All editorial photo requests must be directed to the Athletic Media Relations Director. Effective immediately, no strobe lights will be permitted on the Christenberry Fieldhouse floor.


PRACTICES

Please contact the Athletic Media Relations Director, to schedule the coverage of practices and the practice plans for each specific team.


PRESS AREAS

Press row at Christenberry Fieldhouse is located directly across the playing floor from the scorer’s table and team benches. Please contact the Athletic Media Relations Director, to reserve a seat on press row for Augusta University men’s and women’s basketball games. Seats are at a premium and are on first-come, first-served basis.


PRESS RELEASES

Press releases with detailed information on Augusta University Athletics teams will be produced on a regular basis. All press releases will be available at www.AugustaJags.com e-mailed to media members upon request and provided at events. To be added to a media e-mail list, please contact the Athletic Media Relations Director.


PRESS SERVICES

Press releases, gameday programs, starting lineups and other relevant media materials will be provided to working members of the media. An NCAA box score and play-by-play will be available approximately 10 minutes after the conclusion of the game. In addition, drinks and food (for selected teams and games) will be provided to working members of the media.


WEBCASTS

The official website for Augusta University Athletics – www.AugustaJags.com -- features live webcasts of nearly the entire Augusta University men’s and women’s basketball, volleyball, and baseball schedules. A schedule of these webcasts will be announced and updated at www.AugustaJags.com.


DIRECTIONS/PARKING/PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

All media parking is at Entrance No. 3 to Christenberry Fieldhouse. Spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis. All media who have contacted the Athletic Media Relations Director, or who cover Augusta University Athletics on a regular basis should enter through Entrance No. 3 and present a valid ID to the entrance monitor.

From Savannah to Christenberry Fieldhouse
1. Take I-16 West
2. Take the US-25/US-301 exit, exit number 116, towards STATESBORO/CLAXTON
3. Keep LEFT at the fork in the ramp.
4. Turn RIGHT onto US-301 North & Hwy. 25.
5. Turn LEFT onto US-25 Bypass and follow until road ends.
6. When Bypass ends, turn left on to US-25.
7. Follow US-25 to Augusta and turn LEFT onto I-520 W/GA-415 West
8. Merge onto I-520 West.
9. Take the WRIGHTSBORO RD exit towards DANIEL FIELD.
10. Turn RIGHT onto WRIGHTSBORO RD and follow for about 2 miles
11. Christenberry Fieldhouse will be on your left.

From Atlanta to Christenberry Fieldhouse
1. Take I-20 East towards Augusta
2. Take Exit 196A onto Bobby Jones Expressway
3. Follow to Wrightsboro Road Exit
4. Turn left at end of exit ramp onto Wrightsboro Road
5. Follow Wrightsboro Road about 2 miles and Christenberry Fieldhouse will be on your left.

From Columbia, S.C. to Christenberry Fieldhouse
1. Take I-20 West toward Atlanta
2. Take Exit 196A onto Bobby Jones Expressway
3. Follow to Wrightsboro Road Exit
4. Turn left at end of exit ramp onto Wrightsboro Road
5. Follow Wrightsboro Road about 2 miles and Christenberry Fieldhouse will be on your left.

From Greenville/Spartanburg to Christenberry Fieldhouse
1. Take Augusta Road/US-25 toward Greenwood
2. Follow US-25 to I-20
3. Take I-20 West towards Augusta
4. Take Exit 196A onto Bobby Jones Expressway
5. Follow to Wrightsboro Road Exit
6. Turn left at end of exit ramp onto Wrightsboro Road
7. Follow Wrightsboro Road about 2 miles and Christenberry Fieldhouse will be on your left.
