In the 2014-15 seasons, Bryant saw 11 of his 13 teams reach the NCAA postseason, while piloting the Jaguar Military Alliance with Fort Gordon. Bryant was chosen by the NCAA to chair the Division II Military Pilot Project Team after the NCAA and local U.S. military leaders agreed on the formation of the project in December. A three-year pilot program, the military initiative with Fort Gordon kicked off in 2014-15.

Named the Division II AD of the Year for the Southeast Region by NACDA (National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics) in the summer of 2007, Bryant was selected to the NCAA’s Division II 40th Anniversary Team for his collegiate efforts as a standout men’s basketball player at Belmont Abbey (N.C.) College. On Oct. 5, 2013, Bryant was inducted into the BAC Hall of Fame.

Augusta University has enjoyed unprecedented success over the last several seasons, with numerous Jaguar teams qualifying for NCAA Regional competition -- including 11 of 13 in 2014-15, seven in 2011-12 -- while 28 of the teams earned national rankings in their respective sports that year. In May, 2012, Augusta was named the recipient of the Peach Belt Conference Presidents’ Academic Award, a first for the University.

Under Bryant’s leadership, Augusta men’s golf won back-to-back Division-I NCAA National Championships in 2010 and 2011. In 2018, Broc Everett won the men’s golf NCAA National Championship.
