AUGUSTA, Ga. – Augusta University Athletics had another stellar academic year in 2017-18 with numerous highlights across all 13 NCAA sports.
2017-18 Augusta Athletics – Academic Highlights
- 125 student-athletes named to Spring 2018 Athletic Director's Honor Roll
- 118 student-athletes named to Fall 2017 Athletic Director's Honor Roll
- 105 student-athletes named to the Peach Belt Conference Presidential Honor Roll
- 31 named Peach Belt Conference All-Academic
- 31 student-athletes named PBC Bronze Scholars (those with a GPA of 3.25 - 3.49)
- 29 student-athletes named PBC Presidential Scholars (those with a GPA of 3.0 - 3.4)
- 25 student-athletes named PBC Gold Scholars (those with a GPA of 3.75 - 4.00)
- 20 student-athletes named PBC Silver Scholars (those with a GPA of 3.50 - 3.74)
- Lara Way and Vlad Cobzaru accepted into Dental College of Georgia
- Mallory Myers accepted into radiation therapy and nuclear medicine programs
- Men's and women's golf combined for two Division-I All-American Scholars
- Women's cross country named Division-II NCAA All-Scholar Team
