AUGUSTA, GA – The Peach Belt Conference has announced dates and sites for its 2017-18 championships.
Sites are determined by the PBC Athletic Directors' Council, who select from those schools who made application to host a PBC championship event. The 2017-18 slate features many changes to formats and dates for championship events. All information is subject to change.

Men's and Women's Cross Country
- Oct. 21, 2017
- Races will be run at Fort Benning, Ga., the event will be hosted by Columbus State University
- All eight men's and 11 women's teams will compete
- Women will run at 9:00 am with the men following at 10:15 am
- The PBC Cross Country Championship will be run on a military installation for the second time, the first occurring at Fort Gordon in Augusta, Ga., in 2014. It will be the first time Columbus State has hosted cross country since 2006.
Men's and Women's Soccer
- Quarterfinals will be held on Oct. 31, 2017, and hosted by the higher seed on campus
- Semifinals and Finals at Blanchard Woods Park in Evans, Ga., Nov. 3 and 5.
- The top eight women's teams and top six men's teams will advance to tournament play. This is a change on the men's side with a reduction in the overall number of participants. The #1 and #2 seeds for men will receive byes into the semifinals.
- Women's semifinals will be held first at 11:00 am and 2:00 pm on Friday. The men's semis will follow at 5:00 and 8:00 pm.
- Women's championship on Sunday at 1:00 pm with the men at 3:30 pm.
- 2017 will be the 10th anniversary of the PBC men's and women's soccer finals at Blanchard Woods Park. No other venue has hosted as many consecutive PBC Championships in league history.
- Men's championship winner will receive an NCAA automatic bid for the first time ever.
Volleyball
- All matches will be played Nov. 17-19, 2017, at the Centennial Center on the campus of Georgia College in Milledgeville, Ga.
- GC hosts the event for the second year in a row.
- All seven PBC volleyball teams will participate in the single-elimination tournament.
- The #1 seed will receive a bye into the semifinals. Friday's quarterfinals will featured #2 vs. #7, #3 vs. #6 and #4 vs. #5. Semifinals will take place on Saturday with the championship on Sunday.
- Game times are to be announced.
Men's and Women's Basketball
- With the elimination of divisional play, the top eight teams in the PBC standings will advance to tournament play.
- Quarterfinal matches will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 28. Quarterfinals will be hosted by the higher seed on campus.
- The final four will be hosted by the highest remaining seed for both men and women, splitting the championship for the first time in league history.
- Semifinals and finals will be held on Saturday and Sunday, March 3-4.
Men's and Women's Golf
- The men's and women's golf championships will be held April 13-15 at the Slammer and Squire Course at the World Golf Village in St. Augustine, Fla., and hosted by Flagler College.
- This will be the third straight year the tournament has been at the WGV.
- All PBC teams will play 18 holes each of the three days.
Men's and Women's Track & Field
- The track & field championships return to Pembroke, N.C., April 19-21, 2018.
- UNC Pembroke will be hosting the event for the second time in the last three years.
- All seven PBC men's teams and eight women's teams will compete

Men's and Women's Tennis

Softball
- The PBC softball tournament moves from its usual date in April to May 4-5, 2018.
- The event will be held in Dahlonega, Ga., at the University of North Georgia. UNG hosts for the first time.
- The tournament format will remain unchanged with the top eight teams advancing to tournament play.
- Four quarterfinal games will be held on Friday, May 4 with the semifinals and championship game on Saturday, May 5. Sunday may be used as a rain day, if necessary.
Baseball
- Plans for the 2018 PBC Baseball Tournament are still being finalized. Dates and times will be released as soon as they are available.
